In Indonesia, many visitors rent a car together with a driver instead of driving themselves. Roads can be busy, and a local driver knows the routes, the timing and the best stops. Here is how it works with us.
What you can book

- Multi-day journeys: travel between cities in Java with the same driver. When you cross to Bali, a local Bali driver takes over, and we arrange the hand-over so it is smooth for you
What is included
Every daily rental includes the car (MPV), fuel, parking, highway tolls, mineral water and a local driver. One day is 12 hours. Need an English-speaking driver? Just request it when you book, at no extra cost.
Starting prices by city
Prices are per day (12 hours) for an Avanza with a local driver.
- Bandung: IDR 650,000 (about $36)
- Bali: IDR 700,000 (about $39)
- Banyuwangi, Malang, Yogyakarta, Bogor: from IDR 700,000 (about $39)
- Jakarta: IDR 750,000 (about $42)
An airport transfer costs IDR 300,000 (about $17).

- Toyota Avanza, Innova Zenix, Innova Reborn, Mitsubishi Xpander and Alphard: 7 seats
- Toyota Hiace Commuter: 14 seats
- Toyota Hiace Premio: 10-14 seats
- Toyota Hiace Luxury (captain seats), Denza D9 and BYD M6: ask us for seats and prices
Smaller groups usually pick an Avanza or Xpander. Families often choose an Innova. Bigger groups can use a Hiace, and the premium cars suit guests who want extra comfort. The prices above are for an Avanza. For other cars, ask us and we will send a price.

Why book early
Good cars and experienced drivers are limited, especially in busy periods and school holidays. If you already know your dates, book early to get the car you want, especially for larger groups or the premium cars. For airport pick-ups, send us your flight details as soon as you have them so a driver is ready when you land.
