Staying in Indonesia for more than 30 days means you need a proper visa, not just a short-stay entry. If you are planning a long trip, or you want time to look at business opportunities, a 60-day visa is the usual choice. There are two options, and the right one depends on why you are coming.
C1 Tourist visa
This is for holidays, family visits and general exploring. It allows a stay of 60 days with a single entry. The price is IDR 2,000,000 (about $111) and processing takes 7-10 days.
C2 Business visa
This is for people who will meet companies, look at business opportunities or attend business discussions. It also allows 60 days, single entry. The price is IDR 3,000,000 (about $167) and processing takes 7-10 days. It needs two extra documents: an invitation letter from a sponsor company, and a short statement of your business purpose.

- Coming to travel, relax or visit friends: C1 Tourist
- Meeting companies or exploring business: C2 Business

Documents you need
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- A recent photo with a white background
- Bank statement for the last 3 months, showing a minimum of $2,000
- For C2 only: sponsor company invitation letter and business purpose statement
How long it takes
- Processing: 7-10 days after we receive complete documents
- Stay: 60 days, single entry
- Allow a few extra days for document checks, and more if your bank statement or sponsor letter still needs to be prepared
Why apply early
Visa processing takes 7-10 days, and that starts only when your documents are complete. Bank statements, photos and sponsor letters often take a few days to sort out. If you wait until the last week, a small document problem can cost you your flight. Apply 3-4 weeks before you travel, and you have time to fix anything.
